Online Furniture Wholesaler Terms and Conditions of Trade

These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and trading with Online Furniture Wholesaler. Please read the terms in full before you use our Website. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use this Website. Using the Website implies that you accept these terms. We do occasionally update these terms so please refer back to them in the future.

ORDERS

Orders can be placed by; Telephone and through the web site.

All export orders must be accompanied by evidence of export before invoicing, otherwise VAT will be charged.

PAYMENT

All prices exclude VAT.

Payment can be made in the following ways;
(i) Cash. A maximum of £9000 cash can be paid for any single transaction.
(ii) Cheque. Goods will not be dispatched until funds have cleared into our account, which normally takes 7 working days. This facility can be withdrawn at anytime without notice. Cheques returned unpaid will carry an administrative charge of £50.
(iv) Debit/Credit Card. OFW reserves the right to charge an additional 2.5% for some credit cards and Electron/Solo cards.
(v) BACS Payment. Receipts of bank transfers must be faxed and only when the funds are received will the invoice be deemed paid and goods despatched. All export orders must be paid in Sterling.

MINIMUM ORDER

There is no minimum order for collections.

Deliveries will be subject to varying minimum charges depending on geographical area. Details of areas by postcode and their relevant delivery charges can be found on the "Our Offer" page of the web site or through the following link: [insert link here]

DELIVERY

All orders will endeavour to be picked within 24 hours and delivered the day following despatch.

The customer is responsible for ensuring orders & delivery addresses are correct.

Method of payment must be confirmed at booking in stage and in the event that payment cannot be made available the delivery will be rescheduled.

All invoices must be paid in full. Credit notes will be raised for returns.

The customer must take full responsibility for the checking & unloading of all deliveries and are subject to the Terms and Conditions of DHL Freight in relation to claims for damaged product.

The customer must also ensure there is easy and safe access for pallet deliveries to be made to their premises.

This includes and is not limited to the parking of vehicles to unload the goods. Customers will be liable for any fines, tickets, tolls or administrative charges incurred whilst making delivery to their premises.

In the interest of Health & Safety and for Security purposes, we recommend all customers have access to at least a pump truck for pulling pallets. In the event of lifting boxes, any product above 25kg requires a 2 man lift.

Claims for shortages will not be accepted after delivery. Damages and shortages must be reported to the driver and details reported to the office at time of delivery.

3RD PARTY COURIERS AND CUSTOMER OWN TRANSPORT

All 3rd party couriers or own transport arrangements have to be made by the customer. At time of collection the courier must know who he is collecting on behalf and an itemized list of what is to be collected.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure all funds have cleared and the goods are ready before collecting.

Please note that due to their handling procedures returns from courier companies or own transport will not be accepted. All collections have to be signed for.

Collections can be made between the hours of XXXX.

RETURNS

Incorrectly ordered items or cancelled orders cannot be returned.

Goods that have to be exchanged must be retained in exactly the same condition as they were acquired. These goods must show no evidence of assembly and must be in their original packaging. Retailers must ensure that their customers open packaging in a manner that can easily be put back together and that all items are checked before assembling. Goods that show any sign of assembly cannot be returned. Items that are returned incomplete (inc fittings, knobs etc) will not be credited.

Assembled goods cannot be returned under any circumstance.

Prior notice must be given for goods that are to be returned ensuring that all the above conditions are met and also the original invoice must be made available.

Returned goods can only be accepted by specifically arranged collection after authorisation with the sales team. If goods are to be refused at point of delivery, the nature of the damage together with the invoice number must be reported when notifying the helpline.

Where applicable spare parts will be posted to rectify problems.

OFW will not be responsible for any losses occurred in the delivery of wrong or faulty goods.

OFW will not be liable for any losses incurred, howsoever caused, in all aspects of day-to-day running of the business.

PRINTED MATERIALS AND PRICE LIST

Colours in any printed material are as close to the real colours as the limitation of the printing process will allow. All colours are for descriptive purposes only.

Dimensions are in mm and are approximates only and may vary.

SITE ACCESS

You will be able to access the majority of this Website without having to register any details with us. However, particular areas of this Website will only be accessible only if you have registered.

USE OF WEBSITE

You are permitted to use our website for your own purposes and to print and download material from this Website provided that you do not modify any content without our consent. Material on this website must not be republished online or offline without our permission.
